Assalamualaikum...
That's what I can recall from the experience of shooting word of the day with all my group members who are Najihan, Ezatul, Mimi and Fakhri. Too many things to be shared about my experiences of doing the video which is based on Sesame Street Podcast: Word on The Street.
First and foremost, we have to write or draw a storyboard on our plan. Then, we proceed our plan after getting the approval from our beloved lecturer a.k.a supporting actress in our video - Mdm Mahani.
We shot all the scenes in one day and we took another day to edit it and converted it into CD to submitted to Madam Mahani. Besides her, we also asked for a few supporting actor and actress like Andrew, My nieces and nephew, Wan Nor, Miss Suwita (Thailand Lecturer) and an Indian girl from FUHA.
Me myself has a role as a corporate woman interviewed by Najihan about the meaning of greeting. I felt so difficult to play that part because I'm not so good in acting but then my part went smoothly.
Doing all these things are not an easy task. The most memorable scene is between Mimi, Eza and Wan Nor. They jog together somewhere in UniSZA. It is memorable because this scene took many takes in the shooting session. They have to redo so many times as not ready to act, forgot the script etc.
This assignment gave me a new experience of directing, acting, editing and also using Movie Maker. Now I realize that to come out with a video is a very tough job, but this experience taught me to face the same task in in the future.
Appreciation to Madam Mahani for this Task as it will be a good guidance in the future....Thank You.
